National Polygraph Association 2019 Seminar and Business Meeting


January ​​21, 22 & 23, 2019​


The 20​19 Seminar and Business Meeting will be held at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. Rooms rates for the seminar is $ 61.00 per night (Sunday -Friday) excluding any applicable tax and energy surcharge. In addition the hotel charges a $17.50 resort fee which includes many amenities normally incurred as additional charges.

Guillermo “Gill” Witt, M.S. : Guillermo Witte is a Polygraph Examiner for the San Diego Police Department. Gil is also an instructor of PEAK Credibility Assessment Training Center. Gil is a recognized lecturer and instructor, who has spoken and taught at numerous national and international events. For over a decade, Gil has shared his training and expertise with the public, private, and government sectors. Mr. Witte holds a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Mr. Witte is a member of the American Polygraph Association (APA), American Association of Police Polygraphists (AAPP), and the California Association of Polygraph Examiners (CAPE).

Dana Michniewicz: Dana Michniewicz is the Clinical Director of The Academy Phoenix Program in Norristown, PA. The Phoenix is a court-mandated program providing outpatient treatment for children/adolescents with inappropriate/illegal sex behavior. Duties include: providing individual, familial, and group therapy; preparing treatment summaries, risk assessments, and psychosexual evaluations; overseeing and developing client care, program milieu, and administrative operations; and developing and planning strategies to manage program growth and ensure program sustainability.

Chip Morgan: Chip Morgan is a nationally recognized trainer and lecturer. For decades, Mr. Morgan has shared his training and expertise with others in the law enforcement and corrections arenas. Chip has been a featured speaker, primary instructor, guest lecturer and keynote speaker at numerous national training seminars and colleges throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Det. Jeremy Hoffman: Jeremy Hoffman is a Police Detective with more than eighteen years of experience with the Fairfax County Police Department in Virginia and currently works in the department’s Major Crimes Bureau, Cold Case Section. Between 2010 and 2015, Detective Hoffman was assigned to the FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force and the Northern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. During this same time, he developed methods and techniques for investigating the sexual abuse of animals that was being facilitated through the Internet. Many of these investigations proved to be successful and uncovered sexual offenses involving children that had previously been unreported.

Jim Woods: Former VP of NPA, 2005-Present: Owner, Intermountain Polygraph Services; conduct polygraphs for 12 Law Enforcement agencies; conduct investigations with preemployment and professional standard polygraphs on law enforcement officers and candidates; conduct PCSOT for private therapy Evaluators/Providers and Probation & Parole, private attorneys and state agencies; teach Law Enforcement subjects at Idaho POST, College of Southern Idaho, and Idaho State University; Contractor to the US Dept. of Defense – Dept. of Justice – Dept. of State providing polygraph services and instruction to Foreign Countries; 2011 polygraph advisor/instructor to assist in conducting Basic Polygraph Instruction to: 2011 Iraqi Federal Police; 2015, 2016, & 2018 to the Nepal National & Armed Police Forces; APA Basic Class Instructor for PEAK Credibility Assessment and Training Center.
